Crews work to put out Whittier Narrows Recreation Area blaze

Fire crews are working to put out a vegetation fire in the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area.
As SKYCal flew overhead, crews could be seen carrying hoses into the brush to douse the South El Monte blaze. Water-dropping helicopters were also used.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
